Huddersfield Town defender Pipa is attracting interest from Portuguese side Sporting CP, according to Record.
Pipa enjoyed a positive first season in English football, establishing himself as a key player under Carlos Corberan.
Pipa arrived at the John Smith’s Stadium on a three-year deal from Espanyol in the summer, making 37 appearances in the Championship, scoring two goals and adding four assists.
The 23-year-old proved to be a real attacking outlet from wing-back, and his form is now attracting attention from the continent.
According to Record, Sporting CP are considering a bid for the defender, who could be available for around the €2million mark this summer.
Town would make a large profit if they did sell him for that much, having paid around £500,000 for his services in the summer.
But Pipa is undeniably an important player for the Terriers, with the Spaniard providing plenty of width and presence down the right-hand side.
Here, we take a look at Huddersfield fans’ reactions to the potential sale of Pipa, with Sporting CP keeping an eye on him…
