Barcelona star Marc Casadó has taken to social media, to send a message of apology to the club’s supporters.
This comes after a moment of impulsiveness on the part of the Spaniard cost his teammates dear on Saturday.
Barcelona of course kicked their campaign back into gear last night, making the trip to Balaídos for a La Liga meeting with Celta Vigo.
When all was said and done, Hansi Flick’s troops were forced to settle for a share of the spoils, owing to a 2-2 stalemate.
This only came, however, owing to a late collapse.
With the Blaugrana two goals up and cruising towards another victory, the aforementioned Marc Casadó was shown a 2nd yellow card, for a needless jersey pull in the middle of the park.
From here, Barca completely collapsed, conceding two goals in three minutes to throw away the result.
And, as alluded to above, his influence on as much was not at all lost on midfielder Casadó.
Taking to his official Instagram account in the game’s aftermath, the 21-year-old sent an apology message to his teammates and the club’s supporters, as follows:
“First of all apologies to both the team and the fans, these are decisions that are taken in thousandths of a second and it is clear that today’s was not the right one. We will continue to work for everything that remains. Visca Barça.”
