Hansi Flick has ‘unsettled’ Barcelona star’s transfer suitors | OneFootball

Recent comments laid out by Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick proved altogether effective in warding off interest in a member of the club’s midfield ranks.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Marc Casadó as the player in question.

Youngster Casadó has of course seen his name emerge as an altogether prominent one in the media headlines in Catalunya’s capital over recent weeks.

This comes after word was forthcoming that, amid Barcelona’s long-standing financial troubles, the 21-year-old’s future had been thrown somewhat up in the air.

A whole host of clubs from across Spain and beyond, in turn, were credited with an interest in landing Casadó ahead of the upcoming transfer deadline.

As alluded to above, however, several of these suitors were left thrown off by Hansi Flick’s recent assurance that the Spanish international remains central to his plans.

“He doesn’t want to leave, and I don’t want him to leave. It will be a difficult season, and we need all the players. He gives us confidence, and that’s what I want as a coach,” Barca’s headmaster insisted.

‘The German coach’s staunch defense has unsettled some of Casadó’s suitors,’ several of whom have already begun looking elsewhere for midfield reinforcements.
