Transfers imminent? Barcelona meet with La Liga rivals for 2nd day running | OneFootball

Members of the board at Barcelona on Wednesday met up with their counterparts from La Liga rivals RCD Mallorca for the 2nd day in succession.

This comes amid ongoing transfer talks between the parties, regarding a trio of players.

Word was forthcoming on Tuesday that Barcelona sporting director Deco had held a summit with Mallorca’s Pablo Ortells, to talk through a number of matters.

Ahead of the fast-approaching transfer deadline, the understanding is that the latter are expressing a keen interest in the signings of all of Héctor Fort, Jan Virgili, and Dani Rodríguez.

And if ensuing footage stemming from Spain 24 hours on is anything to go by, then it would appear that such talks are progressing in at least some form.

As showcased below, in footage relaid by journalist Carlos Monfort of Diario Sport, Deco met with Mallorca pair Pablo Ortells and Aduriz once again on Wednesday.

The latter pair made the journey to the Ciutat Esportiva, with hopes of inching ever closer to a potential transfer deal.
