Stoke loan for Donley | OneFootball

Jamie Donley has joined Championship side Stoke City on loan for the 2025/26 season.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder shone during his time in our Academy, playing a key role in our Under-17 and Under-18 Premier League Cup double-winning side in 2022/23 before again proving an influential figure as our Under-21s won the Premier League 2 title the following year.

He made his first team debut in a Premier League fixture away to Manchester City in December, 2023, and having made four senior appearances for us during that campaign, he impressed on loan at Leyton Orient last season, helping them reach the League One play-off final.

During his time with the O's, he made national headlines after a long-range strike against City in the FA Cup and ended the campaign by being named Orient's Young Player of the Season and Supporters' Player of the Season.

Last term also saw Jamie make his senior international debut for Northern Ireland, having previously represented both them and England at youth level.
