Against Atalanta BC, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting became the unlikely hero for Paris Saint-Germain, who scored the game-winning goal in stoppage time.

For RB Leipzig, United States international Tyler Adams became their hero after coming on as a substitute at the 72-minute mark. Then, 16 minutes later, the 21-year-old scored the eventual game-winner that would put the German club in the semi-finals.

Adams spoke with the media postgame about facing Les Parisiens, where NBC Sports relayed his words.

“We’re really, really excited. We know that Paris are a great team, we saw what they did against Atalanta yesterday and they’ve got really good players,” Adams said. “Now it’s about recovering in the right way, getting ourselves right mentally, and working on the game plan. We’re confident in ourselves, you saw that today.”
