Watch Genoa forward Albert Gudmundsson gave Iceland the lead in the Euro 2024 Play-Off Final against his teammate Ruslan Malinovskyi’s Ukraine.
The player helped Genoa earn promotion from Serie B last season and has been a sensation so far in his debut Serie A campaign too with 10 goals and three assists.

He took that club form to international duty too in tonight’s Euro 2024 Play-Off Final against Ukraine, opening the scoring with a marvellous solo effort.
Gudmundsson shimmied left and right to create a gap in the defence before smashing a low left-foot strike into the bottom corner from outside the box.
His Genoa teammate Malinovskyi is starting for Ukraine.
