Uefa have confirmed the host for the 2025 Women’s European Championship on Tuesday.
The honour goes to Switzerland after reportedly three rounds of voting.

Other potential host nations included France, Poland, and a joint bid between Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
The tournament will be a welcome boost for Switzerland and the growth of women’s football, with their national team sitting 20th in the world rankings.
The 2022 edition of the tournament was last held in England, where the Lionesses won on home soil.
