It seems that Sven Ulreich is ready to call time on his Bayern Munich career.
The German has been the club’s number two goalkeeper for five seasons now, playing back up to Manuel Neuer. But with Alexander Nübel arriving in the summer, Ulreich is looking for a fresh start.
Speaking to Sport1, Ulreich admitted that he would take the chance to leave for first-team football given the chance.
“If I had the opportunity to play regularly elsewhere or at least more regularly than here, then I would switch and want to take this step,” he said.
“I am open to everything and can also take the step abroad.”
Since Ulreich’s arrival from Stuttgart in summer 2015, he has featured 69 times, allowing 76 goals while earning 22 clean sheets.
