Four current Barça B’s players will reportedly join pre-season with Barcelona’s first team, according to Sport. The selected youngsters will be Alejandro Balde, Jandro Orellana, Álex Collado, and Nico Gonzalez.

Alejandro Balde is a powerful left-back who is skilled. He has been playing in the club since he was just eight years old. He is seventeen years old (2003) and has been always playing in older teams with players who were not born in the same year as him. In fact, for his age, he should be playing in the U19B team but instead is playing at a high level in Barça B.

Jandro Orellana is a Barça-style-made footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. He was born in 2000 and is 20 years old. He arrived at La Masia when he was fourteen. Some people have compared him to Sergio Busquets and claim that he would be a perfect substitute for the Badia del Vallés player.

Álex Collado is a midfielder who loves to be around the rival’s box, as he has a lot of game vision and a great shot in his foot. The twenty-one-year-old is the captain of Barça B and has been one of the most, if not the most, important pieces of Garcia Pimienta’s team this season. He has already played a bunch of minutes with the first team. He made his professional debut back in May 2019 in a LaLiga game against Celta de Vigo. It was reported that next season, he will be joining the first team on a permanent move.

Last but not least is Nico Gonzalez, who also plays as a midfielder and stands out for his understanding of the game and his tactical gifted player. He is 19 years old and arrived at La Masia when he was eleven when he was scouted during a friendly game at his hometown in Galicia. His progress has been unbelievable and since then, he has become one of the most exciting prospects in the Catalan club.

Joan Laporta’s effort to empower La Masia in the following years is a club trait that should never be lost. Therefore, this is magnificent news, as four new La Masia players will be joining the first team.
