Arsenal are in advanced talks to sign Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyökeres according to the Athletic's David Ornstein.
The Gunners had been linked with several strikers, most notably RB Leipzig's Benjamin Šeško, but it now appears that Gyökeres will be the one making the move to the Emirates.
The report states that personal terms for a five-year contract are not an issue, with the player adamant he only wants to move to the North London club, but talks are ongoing over a sizeable fee.
The 27-year-old Swedish international's time in Portugal has been an incredible success, scoring 97 goals in 102 appearances to help Sporting to two league titles. He previously played in England with Coventry, Swansea and Brighton.
If a deal is completed, Gyökeres will become Arsenal's third signing of the summer after Martin Zubimendi and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
