Barcelona youngster names Paul Pogba & former Blaugrana star as his football idols | OneFootball

Barcelona youngster Marc Bernal has this weekend provided an insight into his appreciation for some of the game’s most gifted midfielders.

As much came about during an interview with Diario Sport.

Youngster Bernal is for his part of course currently in the midst of the final stages of recovery from a serious knee injury.

After suffering a torn ACL back in August of 2024, the 18-year-old was forced to sit out almost the entirety of this past season.

The hope, though, is that within the coming weeks, Bernal will be given the green light for a return to competitive action.

Late this week, the Spaniard, in turn, sat down for interviews with a number of media sources, to discuss his injury, place at Barcelona and more.

And it was during one such interview that Bernal opened up on some of his midfield role models.

Speaking to Diario Sport, the Blaugrana talent was asked to name his player references in the world of football.

And Bernal did not hesitate in responding:

‘Busquets or Pogba.’
