The future of Satriano for the upcoming season remains a mystery.

The 23-year-old is currently at Inter. He returned from his spell on loan at Brest last season.

The Ligue 1 side have been trying to sign Satriano on a permanent basis after last campaign’s loan.

Brest have even agreed a deal with Inter to sign the Uruguayan.

However, the player himself has been reluctant to agree to a move to Brest. A return to Ligue 1 (where he had also spent the second half of the 2021-22 campaign on loan) is not his preference.

Rather, Satriano wants to join a team in La Liga.

However, to date there have not been any major offers from Spanish clubs to sign Satriano.

But according to Spanish outlet Gol Digital, the 23-year-old striker could have a viable destination in La Liga.

Real Betis Keen To Sign Inter Striker Martin Satriano

Spanish top flight side Betis are still looking to make attacking reinforcements before the end of the summer transfer window.

Gol Digital report that Sporting Director Fajardo has been at the heart of the search for a striker who will suit the style of play of coach Manuel Pellegrini.

And according to Gol Digital, one of the top names on Fajardo’s list is Satriano.

The Betis executive believes that the 23-year-old Uruguayan international has just the right characteristics to suit Pellegrini.

However, it remains to be seen whether Betis will be able to make a sufficient offer for Satriano.

Inter had been ready to sell Satriano to Brest for a fee of €6 million. That is the benchmark that Betis would likely have to reach.
