Mikel Arteta has put pen-to-paper on a contract extension at Arsenal.
The new deal will keep Arteta at the Emirates until 2027.
The confirmation comes as a huge boost to the north London club who had seen their coach enter the last year of his current deal.
The 42-year-old though, has committed himself to the Gunners and will now stay for a further three seasons.
Arteta joined the club as a player in 2011, going on to play over 100 times in the Premier League for Arsène Wenger’s side.
But having gone on to be an assistant under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, Arteta then returned to Arsenal in 2019 and went on to win the FA Cup in 2020.
It’s been constant progression since then for the club, who took the title down to the last day in 2023/24 before finishing in second place.
