PSG preparing fresh €60m bid for Milan Škriniar (27)

According to Fabrizio Romano PSG are preparing a counter-offer for Slovakian centre-back Milan Škriniar (27) of €60m plus add-ons after the latest bid of €50m plus add ons was rejected. This is a lot closer to Inter Milan’s lower end of their valuation at €65-70m plus add ons.
The Nerazurri are reportedly not desperate to keep the Slovakian central defender and, as Foot Mercato reported earlier last week, PSG are confident a deal can be made for the 27-year-old relatively quickly and have convinced the player on salary terms.
The defender – whose Inter contract runs out at the end of next season – could be a vital part of PSG’s hierarchal and tactical shake up brought in by Luis Campos. Škriniar is part of the new sporting advisor’s intention to shape the PSG side into playing a 3-5-2 formation.
Whilst the move could threaten Sergio Ramos’s and Presnel Kimpembe’s role in the squad, a move to a back three would require extra quality in the Parisian backline alongside club captain Marquinhos.
