Paris Saint-Germain secured Milan Skriniar on a free transfer from Inter Milan and the expectation was for him to be an anchor on the backline. However, a few months into his first season in the French capital, it’s been a challenging season.

Skriniar was a key central defender for Inter Milan, which is why the Parisians landed him. The capital club likely had the same thought process that the Slovakian could translate that success from Serie A to Ligue 1.

Many teams would give Skriniar another season to see if a full summer with PSG can help him have a better Year 2, but L’Equipe reports that it might not be the case. According to the French media outlet, Skriniar could be transferred this summer.

Internally, the club would not be satisfied and would be looking for a central defender. The Parisians had already begun revamping the central defense with the arrival of Lucas Beraldo.

Rumors suggest that PSG are keen on Leny Yoro, so it will be interesting to see what happens and whether Skriniar is out after one season.
