According to L’Équipe, a central defender will be high on the list of priorities for PSG in the summer transfer window. The Ligue 1 leaders are unsatisfied with the performances of their reinforcements for the position this season and are set to look for replacements to bolster their defensive options.

Milan Škriniar (29) and Lucas Beraldo (20) have both been signed by Les Parisiens this season with a view to improving their options and quality in central defence. More expectations were perhaps placed on former Inter Milan defender Škriniar after his wealth of experience and success in Italy.

Berlado has possibly been used more frequently than fans of PSG would have expected considering the difficulties they have had in central defence. Despite a rather up-and-down start to life in the French capital, at just 20, more hopes are placed on the Brazilian as one for the future.

Unsatisfiying Škriniar

PSG are unsatisfied with the performances of Škriniar this season, according to L’Équipe. Beraldo has been favoured since he returned from injury and before that, the Slovakian international’s minutes were limited to an ankle injury. The 29-year-old is left with much to prove with potential reinforcements arriving in the summer.
