Milan Škriniar closing in on move to PSG | OneFootball

L’Équipe report this morning that Paris Saint-Germain are working on finding an deal with Inter Milan for Milan Škriniar, having ostensibly already agreed personal terms with the Slovakian defender.

The Nerazzurri are hoping for an €80m fee for their centre-back. PSG’s initial offer was set at €50m, but have reportedly upped that amount to €60m and an agreement could be found for around the same fee as Achraf Hakimi’s move last year – €60m plus bonuses.

The Slovak international is an attractive prospect for the Ligue 1 champions given his versatility in defence, given he is able to play in a three or four-man backline – the former being the system the PSG management want to put in place, the latter being incoming manager Christophe Galtier’s speciality.

The 27-year-old started no less than 48 games this season, his dependability being a potential advantage as well given Sergio Ramos’ fitness issues last season. He has been with Inter since the 2017/18 season, notably winning the league title in 2020/21.

Gazzetta dello Sport have indicated that Luis Campos, PSG’s new sporting advisor, has offered a four or five year deal with a salary of €7.7m net, doubling what he earns in Italy.
