Last Sunday, Ngal’ayel Mukau was stretchered off during Lille’s 1-0 victory over Monaco in Ligue 1. The Congolese midfielder will miss his team’s upcoming match against Lorient on Saturday.

In an official statement released this Wednesday, the northern French club announced that their player is suffering from a "bone contusion on his right foot, as well as a sprained right ankle". He is therefore ruled out for the upcoming weekend—and possibly longer. "The length of his absence and his return to competition will depend on how his injuries progress," LOSC stated.
