Kompany: ‘We need 100 percent focus for success’

While Bayern’s players first completed their obligatory performances tests and routine medical checks on their return to Säbener Straße, new head coach Vincent Kompany spoke to fcbayern.com in an interview for the first time ahead of the new season.

“It’s important for me to get a feel for the guys,” the 38-year-old said of his first days overseeing training. That’s why he’s been talking to them, observing them and analysing them. He’s called for full concentration for the demanding pre-season period. “We need to focus on getting back to the top,” the Belgian stated.
