Italy starlet Cesare Casadei was introduced as a substitute at minute 80 in Chelsea’s home win over Everton on Monday and contributed to the Blues’ victory with 100% successful passes and 10 touches in 10 minutes.

MozoFootball reported on X, formerly Twitter, stats from Casadei’s performance against Everton on Monday night.

It was reported that the Inter Academy product registered 100% on his successful passes (7/7), successful long balls (1/1), successful aerial duel battles (1/1), and 10 touches in 10 minutes.

“For his age, very composed,” MonzoFootball commented.

Casadei returned to Chelsea after a six-month loan spell at Leicester City in the 2024 January transfer window and has made five Premier League appearances with the Blues, all as a substitute.

Casadei was introduced at minute 80 on Monday night and Alfie Gilchrist scored the sixth goal for the Blues with the Italian midfielder on the pitch.

Casadei joined Chelsea from Inter in a €20m deal in the summer of 2022.

During the first part of the 2023-24 campaign, he had managed three goals and two assists in 25 appearances across all competitions with Leicester City under his compatriot Enzo Maresca.
