Greg Taylor has opened up on the half-time talk that inspired a comeback at Fir Park. After a dire 45 minutes, Celtic found themselves behind at the break after an excellent Blair Spittal strike and there were concerns whether the team would be able to come out and compete in the second half.

Speaking at Friday’s media conference, Taylor spoke about the clinical chat from manager Brendan Rodgers that resulted in goals from Adam Idah and Luisa Palma completing the turnaround.

“He stayed really calm and just spoke us through a few points where we could be better in the game.

“He took all of the emotion out of it and it is so easy to get caught up in emotional moments when you are down.

“The manager just said this is where we can be better in the game and we took that into the second half.”

Taylor assisted Idah’s opener with a brilliant cross and followed that up with an assist and goal himself in the 7-1 victory against Dundee. The full-backs have been impressive over the last two games and it appears that the arrival of Adam Idah from Norwich has aided the style of play.

The Scottish Champions followed up the win at Fir Park with an excellent performance and win over Dundee. Rodgers will be hoping his side can continue this form on Sunday when they travel to Edinburgh to face Hearts at Tynecastle.
