Our Red Bulls are back with a real bang. Our first competitive match of 2022 will be an all-or-nothing cup tie and there's great news - you can be there! When we host LASK at the Red Bull Arena on Sunday 6 February at 16:30 CET, there will be a spot in the last four of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup at stake. We are looking forward to starting the new year with our fans fully behind us.

Due to the latest Covid restrictions in Austria, spectators will only be permitted at the stadium if they wear FFP2 masks and abide with the BoosterPlus rule (proof of booster vaccine and a negative PCR test). All the conditions on entering the stadium under the BoosterPlus rules as well as travel and prices can be found in our ticketing FAQs.

Situation concerning the UEFA Champions League

We will give everything to try to make our Champions League last 16 encounter with FC Bayern a proper big football night with our fans. Unfortunately there is still a lack of clarity regarding the situation. Our general manager Stephan Reiter summarises the situation as follows:

Regarding our Champions League last 16 first leg against FC Bayern Munich on Wednesday 16 February at 21:00, we remain in intensive discussions with local authorities. Current rules specify a curfew of 22:00 for all events and meetings, making it impossible to have spectators at our home match in Salzburg. Due to the significance of the match, we are hoping that the situation improves and that our efforts allow us to hold the match in front of fans in the end. We have drawn up suggestions together with regional politicians that are now being put to the Austrian government.

We will keep you up to date with any developments on our digital channels.
