Just a few days after the successful coaching debut of Onur Cinel we are to face SK Austria Klagenfurt again in the 28th game week of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga - and this time we are away. With Sturm Graz also winning at the weekend and staying neck-on-neck with us in the title race (behind on goal difference) there can be no letting up at all.
Clashes in our meetings with Klagenfurt this season provide plenty of cause for optimism - after the 4-2 home win on Sunday, we are unbeaten in our past nine meetings (seven of which we have won). We know full well though from our last visit to the 28 Black Arena just how difficult Peter Pacult's side can be to beat.
Back towards the start of the regular season, our Red Bulls had taken a 2-0 lead away in Klagenfurt only for a red card for Strahinja Pavlovic to put the hosts back into the encounter, and we ended up with only a 2-2 draw.
The key to another win will be in attack - as our four goals on Sunday showed. We are the only team in the league that has scored at least one goal in all of our matches in 2024 (with 23 in total) – and that is a run we want to continue.
Tickets for the away sector will be available at the away ticket point. All the information on coming to the stadium to support us can be found here:

Some things really pleased me with the first match against Klagenfurt. We played with a high tempo, with joy in our game and created a lot of chances. There are a few things we still need to improve, but that is no surprise due to the short time in which we had to prepare. It's important now that we recover well in the days before the match and analyse the match on Sunday well, as we also want to win in Klagenfurt.
Onur Cinel
We did really well on Saturday. We want to build on that performance in the second meeting and take three points. I think we won't get too many chances in Klagenfurt. We need to improve our finishing and be more clinical in front of goal.
