Brentford have confirmed the loan signing of Tottenham’s Sergio Reguilón on loan until the end of the season.
Bees’ boss Thomas Frank made left back a priority position this window after losing Rico Henry for the season due to an ACL injury, and he has now got his man.
The move marks Reguilón’s second of the season, after spending the first half of the campaign on loan at Manchester United following their own injury issues at left back.
The 27-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements at his parent club after Ange Postecoglou’s arrival last summer.
Reguilón will be hoping to make his Brentford bow on Saturday when his new side host Nottingham Forest, a game which will also see the return of Ivan Toney to first-team football.
