Belgium international Yannick Carrasco could be targeted by Bayern Munich as they look to rebuild their squad.
Carrasco has been in the Chinese Super League with Dalian Yifang for the last 18 months.
Now, though, he is reportedly eager to return to Europe.
According to widespread reports, the Carrasco is being chased by Arsenal, who were already linked with him back in January.
However, SportBILD say Bayern see the Belgian as a “Plan B” in case their move for Leroy Sané falls through.
Sané has emerged as Bayern’s main target for the summer. However, convincing Manchester City to sell the German will not be easy.
Carrasco, formerly of Monaco and Atlético Madrid, would be a cheap alternative with a €30m fee likely to be enough to sign him.
The report say Arsenal are in advanced negotiations for the 25-year-old but Bayern’s interest could delay things with the Gunners unable to offer Champions League football.
