The Mexican National Team made its historic debut in the First Edition of the Women's Gold Cup, this Tuesday against Argentina at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles, California. The match ended in a 0-0 draw and the Red-and-White team played a role, which we will tell you about below.
The only Chivas Femenil player considered for this competition is Araceli Torres, who came on as a substitute in the second half of the match between El Tri and the South American team. The Red-and-Ehite winger did not start, but took the place of Karina Rodríguez at 45'.
Although El Tri tried until the last minute, the goal did not come, so Mexico and Argentina split the points in their presentation in the Women's Gold Cup.
The second match for the Aztecs will be next Friday at 6:30 PM against the Dominican Republic and will also be played in Los Angeles.
