Sky Germany reports that Jobe Bellingham wishes to play in the Club World Cup with Borussia Dortmund after he decided to move to the club.

Jobe is currently with the England under-21s as they begin their preparation for the European Championship later this summer. However, the 19-year-old wants to forgo the competition and instead play at the Club World Cup with his new team.

Dortmund are already in negotiations with the midfielder’s current club, Sunderland, over the transfer fee. die Schwarzgelben hope to pay a fee of around €25-30m for Jobe due to an agreement between the player’s party and his current club. However, the 19-year-old has a release clause in his contract that is said to be worth around €40m.

Jobe is not the only player who could be travelling with Dortmund to America later this month. Dortmund are in talks with Chelsea to extend the loan of Carney Chukwumeka through the tournament. However, the 21-year-old will not be staying at the Signal Iduna Park on a permanent basis.
