Barcelona’s hunt for a new left-winger is heating up, with Albert Fernandez reporting that the club have scouted Norwegian talent Antonio Nusa more than 10 times.
The young winger, who has impressed with his speed and skill, has long been on Barça’s radar.
Just a year ago, Nusa was seen as a budget-friendly alternative if the club failed to sign Nico Williams.
Although neither move happened, Barça’s interest in Nusa is still alive, especially since the player himself recently expressed his childhood love for the club.
In an interview few weeks ago, Nusa admitted, “When I was younger, my team was FC Barcelona, but now I am neutral. That’s the best I can say.”
Meanwhile, the journalist also mentions that the club is also keeping tabs on Monaco’s Eliesse Ben-Seghir, who has been followed closely by the scouting team as another potential reinforcement.

Despite keeping options like Nusa and Ben-Seghir open, Barcelona’s main priorities at the moment remain Liverpool’s Luis Diaz and Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.
However, signing Diaz will not be easy. Reports suggest Bayern Munich are also determined to land the Colombian star, which could drive up his price significantly.
As for Rashford, he has caught Barcelona’s eye since Nico decided to stay at Athletic Club. But competition for the Englishman is also fierce. Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho is pushing to sign Rashford for the Turkish giants.
Mourinho hopes to use his relationship with Rashford from their time together at Manchester United as a key factor in convincing him to join Fenerbahce, ideally on loan.
While Barcelona continue to explore their options, the race for a new left-winger promises to be intense.
With deals for Diaz and Rashford getting complicated, there are chances that Barcelona might try their luck with either Nusa or Ben-Seghir.
