AC Milan have reportedly had an offer for Nino Marcelli rejected, a Slovan Bratislava talent that they will see first hand tomorrow night.
Milan will make the trip to the Slovakian capital for tomorrow evening’s game in the Champions League and one of the players they will have to watch out for is the 19-year-old left winger Marcello.
According to SportNet, Milan offered €5m for the forward, which is more than his estimated value as per Transfermarkt who state that he is worth €4m.
“It’s true. Official negotiations with AC Milan were underway, but no agreement was reached at all. Our requirements differed with their ideas. We didn’t agree on the terms,” Slovan’s CEO Ivan Kmotrík Jr. confirmed to them.
It is not yet known whether the Slovan head coach Vladimír Weiss will start him against Milan but if he does then it gives the opportunity for the directors to watch him up close.
The winger already has two goals and two assists in 14 league games for the club from the Slovakian capital, while he has two assists in the Champions League too.
It is also not clear whether he would be viewed more as a signed for Milan Futuro in Serie C, or if he could potentially come in to be Rafael Leao’s deputy immediately.
