Real Madrid will kick off their 2025/26 La Liga campaign on Tuesday night when they host CA Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabeu.

It will mark the first La Liga in charge for manager Xabi Alonso, who took over the reins of the team in June and led them to the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals.

Ahead of the game tomorrow, Alonso has now announced the squad list of players who will be at his disposal.

Real Madrid’s all four summer signings – Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, Alvaro Carreras, and Franco Mastantuono feature in the squad and are expected to make their league debuts against Osasuna.

Meanwhile, key midfielder Federico Valverde returns to the squad after missing the friendly against WSG Tirol due to a muscle discomfort.

Teenage prodigy Thiago Pitarch also makes the cut to provide depth in midfield in the absence of players like Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham, who are recovering from injuries.

Endrick and Ferland Mendy are also absent due to injury while Antonio Rudiger misses out through suspension.

Gonzalo Garcia will make his first appearance after signing a new contract and earning a first-team promotion earlier this summer.
