La Liga giants Real Madrid will be forced to make do without the contributions of five members of the club’s first-team squad in their upcoming season opener.

This comes owing to a combination of injury and suspension.

Real Madrid are of course primed to kick the club’s 2025/26 campaign into gear on Tuesday evening.

A meeting with Osasuna lies in wait for new Blancos Xabi Alonso, in his first league outing since taking up the reins at the Santiago Bernabéu earlier this summer.

As alluded to above, though, in efforts to get things up and running with a three-point haul, Alonso and his staff will not be able to call on the talents of a quintet of players.

Ruled out through injury are all of Jude Bellingham, Endrick, Ferland Mendy, and Eduardo Camavinga.

And also unavailable owing to a suspension picked up late last season is defensive stalwart Antonio Rüdiger.
