Raheem Sterling is not in talks with Turkish side Besiktas over a move despite reports according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
Sterling is one of a number of players Chelsea are desperately looking to offload before the end of the window, but as of yet no offers have been received.
The 30-year-old’s career has been on a steady decline since he joined the Blues from Manchester City for £50m in 2022.
Sterling has had a difficult time at Stamford Bridge, and certainly hasn’t lived up to expectations, whilst the winger was booed at times by Chelsea supporters during Mauricio Pochettino’s time in charge.
It was clear he wasn’t going to be part of Enzo Maresca’s plans, and Sterling secured a deadline day loan move to Arsenal last summer.
The winger didn’t fare much better in north London, and managed just one goal in 28 appearances in all competitions.

Sterling is now back at Chelsea, and the Blues will be desperate to get his reported wages of in excess of £300,000 per week off the books.
However, Sterling is attracting interest from a number of clubs, and it’s believed his preference is to remain in London.
It’s been reported Besiktas are in talks over a move for Sterling, and Jacobs has now provided an update on the situation.
He took to X.com and said:
“Raheem Sterling is not in talks with Besiktas, despite links.
“Understand Sterling is not interested in a move to Turkey, and has held no direct talks with any club there.”
Sterling isn’t the only attacker Chelsea are looking to move on, with the club also trying to sell Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson.

Chelsea need to sell the duo in order to make room in the squad for Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho, who they are trying to complete deals for.
Jackson is reportedly in talks with Bayern Munich, and also has interest from Premier League clubs, whilst Nkunku is attracting interest from clubs in Italy and Germany, but the clock is ticking.
