Saudi club Neom preparing offer for Chelsea’s Axel Disasi | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Saudi Arabian side SC Neom are preparing a transfer offer for Chelsea defender Axel Disasi (27). The newly formed club have been particularly active on the summer market, recruiting the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Marcin Bulka, Nathan Zézé, Saïmon Bouabré, Abdoulaye Doucouré and Amadou Koné in recent weeks.

The former Stade de Reims and AS Monaco centre-back is now on Neom’s shortlist, but the France international reportedly is not interested in a move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career.

Disasi joined Chelsea in the summer of 2023 and has since made 61 appearances for the Blues, while also featuring in 10 matches on loan at Aston Villa under Unai Emery. However, Chelsea are actively looking to recruit a new central defender before the close of the transfer window, and Disasi is expected to be allowed to leave.GFFN | George Boxall
