Napoli have made an offer for Udinese’s Nehuen Perez and they are gaining ground on a potential move.
The Argentine defender has been one of Napoli’s multiple targets for the centre-back role and talks have taken place in the past. But it seems as if an offer has been put forward by the Partenopei.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that when Napoli put forward their offer, Udinese changed their demands. They want a fee of €20 million to sell the defender, with the request having risen. Napoli’s current offer isn’t too far off from what Udinese demand, as they are offering €15 million so far.
The gap isn’t huge, but Udinese increased their demand after their loss to Milan which has left them only one point away from the relegation zone. But a meeting between the two clubs will take place on Tuesday (today) to potentially make sure that the move progresses and an agreement is found.
