AS Monaco’s Mika Biereth is in training, having come off injured with an injured pelvic ridge against AS Saint-Étienne on Saturday night.

The Principality club won 3-1 against Les Verts but it was a win that came at a cost. Bierth came off in the first half after injuring his pelvis in a duel. Moatasem Al-Musrati also came off with an ankle injury, however, unlike Biereth, he was not present in Thursday’s session, ahead of Friday’s match against Olympique Lyonnais.

His involvement against OL is, therefore, highly doubtful. There will be hope that Biereth can feature against Les Gones in what is a key battle in the race for the UEFA Champions League. Aleksandr Golovin is certain to miss the encounter. The Russian is likely to be out until the end of the season and in Thursday’s session, attended by Get French Football News, he did laps of the pitch, away from his teammates.
