Supporters of Barcelona will no doubt be overjoyed to learn of the latest comments laid out by La Liga president Javier Tebas.

This comes with the Spaniard having provided an altogether positive insight into the club’s latest monetary situation.

The subject of financial woes has of course long positioned itself front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital.

As much comes with poor long-term planning having essentially left the board at the Camp Nou with their hands tied when it comes to spending.

Such restrictions have had a major impact on Barcelona’s endeavours on the pitch, with this past season having seen the Blaugrana ousted from their perch atop the Spanish football pyramid in alarmingly straightforward fashion by arch rivals Real Madrid.

Safe to say, then, that those of a Barca persuasion will no doubt be thrilled to hear of their side, at long last, getting the club’s accounts back in order.

Speaking during a media appearance (as cited by Cadena SER) this week, La Liga president Javier Tebas was asked for the latest on the situation behind the scenes in Catalunya.

And Tebas went on to confirm some altogether encouraging news, in explaining:

“This year, of all the last few years, is the easiest for them. Barcelona knows what they have to do to bring in players, they know financial fair play , they have a good command of it. They are coming out of their complicated economic situation and we will see if they can resolve those few issues they have in order to add the important signings they expect.”
