EXCLUSIVE! Premier League striker WANTS Chelsea move!

Chelsea are never going to drop the money that would be needed to bring Alexander Isak away from Newcastle were they? Not after what we heard about the likes of Michael Olise and Nico Williams deals being too expensive overall. Even though Chelsea dropped over £100m signing Enzo Fernandez, and then again for Moises Caicedo, it looks like the days of Chelsea spending big money on individual players are over, and they are looking for young players as opportunities rather than buying an established player on big wages and for big money. That is at least what it looks like according to Romano.

Isak package too expensive for Chelsea

Isak will be hard to prize from Newcastle

Isak will not be coming to Chelsea this summer unless they change their stance and decide to drop a big bag to bring him in.

Romano said on X: “Chelsea are currently not working on Alexander Isak deal, as package’s also considered too high. Similar to Olise and Nico Williams, no talks so far due to expensive package. Newcastle consider Isak as key player, planning to keep him unless crazy proposal arrives.”

So there you have it Chelsea fans, the dream for Isak to be playing at Stamford Bridge lasted less than 24 hours, at least for now anyway.

You might have to settle for young and unproven players who are raw and could end up proving to be a real gem of a signing. Long window left of course, so lets see what happens.
