Dortmund reportedly ready to offload trio in the summer | OneFootball

Borussia Dortmund could be facing a major upheaval at the end of the season.

According to local publication Ruhr Nachrichten, the club definitely want to get rid of Niklas Süle, Giovanni Reyna and Salih Özcan.

Süle is one of the club's highest earners, reportedly earning €14 million a year, but his role in the squad does not justify that.

The 29-year-old is out of contract in 2026, and Dortmund are keen to sell him this summer to avoid losing him on a free next year.

However, the question is whether they will be able to find a buyer for Süle, who could be inclined to see out his contract given his high wages.

The report also mentions Giovanni Reyna as a player Borussia Dortmund are keen to offload, claiming the club are "running out of patience" with the 22-year-old, who is also under contract until 2026.

Finally, Dortmund are reportedly kready to sell Salih Özcan, who recently returned from a loan spell at Wolfsburg after failing to make an impact.

Marcel Sabitzer, Emre Can, Julian Brandt and Pascal Gross are all named as players whose futures at Dortmund are uncertain.

Gregor Kobel, Jamie Gittens and Karim Adeyemi have also been linked with moves away from the club.
