The report claims that Milan offered the Tuscan tactician a six-month contract with an option for a further campaign, but Sarri hoped for a longer deal and turned down the proposal.
Conceiçao has signed a contract until June 2026, but according to Sky Sport Italia, the agreement includes a clause that Milan can activate by the end of the season to terminate the agreement unilaterally.
Conceiçao landed in Italy on Monday afternoon, heading to Milanello to take charge of his first training session.
The team will fly to Saudi Arabia tomorrow and meet Juventus in the Supercoppa semifinal on January 3.
