Barcelona star ‘not in Hansi Flick’s plans’ ahead of imminent departure | OneFootball

An up-and-coming member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona does not feature in the plans of boss Hansi Flick for the season ahead.

As much has today been reiterated by Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Héctor Fort as the player in question.

Versatile full-back Fort has of course been tipped for a potential Barcelona exit for several weeks now.

This comes with the consensus being that the 19-year-old is in need of regular first-team football, to continue developing as a player.

And as much, evidently, would not be on offer to Fort in Catalunya’s capital this coming season.

As per a report from MD:

‘The right-back is not in Hansi Flick’s plans, and both his entourage and the player believe it’s best to look for a destination where he can have a prominent role.’

When it comes to suitors, Fort is not at all short, with the likes of RCD Mallorca and Como having been joined by several Premier League clubs in the hunt for the youngster.

An announcement regarding a loan move, in turn, is expected over the days ahead.
