Barcelona young duo have no plans to leave amid future speculations | OneFootball

Pablo Torre and Hector Fort are among Barcelona’s pool of young talents determined to make an impact in this new season.

Torre, in particular, is coming on the back of an excellent pre-season and will be determined to prove himself further under Hansi Flick.

Hector Fort, meanwhile, enjoyed a breakthrough season under Xavi and was expected to take on a major role this season.

However, there has been an interesting twist to the tale recently, with Barcelona reportedly open to the idea of loaning out both Torre and Fort in this final week of the transfer market.

This is primarily because Barcelona are not in a position to offer either of them regular game-time this season, thus potentially stifling their growth trajectory.

Torre, for one, is set to face intense competition in the midfield department, whereas Jules Kounde currently holds hegemony in the right-back position, with Barcelona also vying for a new right-back in the final days of the market.

Torre, Fort keen on Barcelona stay

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, both Torre and Fort have no desire to leave Barcelona this summer, even with intense competition.

Both the players have a clear goal – stay at Barcelona and fight for their place in the first-team. Fort, in particular, wants to take advantage of Barcelona’s situation in the right-back position, despite receiving interest from Sporting Gijon.

Torre is hopeful of making a name for himself, especially after an impressive pre-season this summer.

Barcelona, for their part, must be mindful about not offloading too many players, considering the fact that they are expected to sell multiple stars in the final week of the transfer market.
