2nd La Liga club join the hunt for Barcelona star | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is attracting interest from not one, but two fellow Spanish top-flight clubs.

The player in question? Pablo Torre.

The name of youngster Torre has of course proven a prominent one in the transfer headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the week to date.

As much comes after RCD Mallorca kicked into gear negotiations with their Barcelona counterparts, over the 22-year-old’s signing.

And if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, the Bermellones are now considered the outright favourites to strike a deal.

All the while, though, as alluded to above, another La Liga outfit are waiting in the wings.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘Everything with Mallorca is very advanced, but Osasuna has entered the final bidding in case the talks break down.’

The understanding is that, at the first sign of dicsussions slowing between Barca and Mallorca, the Osasuna board are ready to pounce for Torre’s signature.
