Inter Milan, Napoli, and Juventus target Jonathan David has yet to find a new club, with his wage demands a key factor.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report the Canadian wants €5 million net per season plus a €15 million sign-on bonus.
Jonathan David has been linked with a number of big Serie A clubs for months now.
The 25-year-old has long looked likely to be one of the big free transfer opportunities of the summer transfer window. He is available with his contract with Lille coming to an end.

There has reportedly been no shortage of interest in Jonathan David from Serie A.
Inter Milan are certainly no strangers to signing players on free transfers. That is the route via which Marcus Thuram, Andre Onana, and Hakan Calhanoglu arrived at the Nerazzurri among others.
Meanwhile, it’s not just Inter. The likes of Juventus and Napoli have also approached David’s representatives.
However, as of yet, a transfer has not materialized for David.
And according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Canadian international’s wage demands have played a major role in this.
David wants €5 million net per season. And on top of this, he is asking for am €15 million sign-on bonus.
That has so far put off all teams in Italy. However, reports the Gazzetta, that does not mean that a move to Serie A is altogether off the table for David just yet.
