Inter Milan Vice-President Names PSG & Real Madrid As ‘Big Favourites’ For FIFA Club World Cup

Inter Milan Vice-President Javier Zanetti believes that PSG and Real Madrid are the “big favourites” to win the Club World Cup.
The Nerazzurri executive spoke to Radio La Red, via FCInterNews. He gave his thoughts ahead of the tournament.
Inter Milan begin their campaign in the FIFA Club World Cup this week.
The Nerazzurri take on Mexican side Monterrey in their first match of the group stage in Los Angeles. The match is at 6:00 PM local time on Tuesday evening. However, it is at 3.00 CET the following in morning.
Inter will then play subsequent group stage matches against the likes of Urwawa Red Diamonds and River Plate.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri’s Derby d’Italia rivals Juventus are the other team from Serie A who are participating in the tournament.

In the meantime, there are a number of other big European teams in the Club World Cup.
From the Premier League, the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea are participating. Then, Bundesliga duo Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also in the tournament.
Furthermore, the likes of Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Red Bull Salzburg are also in the Club World Cup.
As far as the favourites for the whole tournament, Inter Vice-President Javier Zanetti predicted that “Real Madrid and PSG are the big favourites.”
Then, Zanetti also gave his thoughts on Argentine giants Boce Juniors and River Plate. “They’ll be competitive,” he anticipated.
And of Inter’s 5-0 loss to PSG in the Champions League final, Zanetti said that “our opposition succeeded at everything.”
“But it wasn’t a failure from us,” he insisted.
