Josep Martinez has officially become part of the Inter Milan family after completing his switch from Genoa.

After weeks of negotiations, Inter agreed on a deal worth €15 million to sign the Spanish goalkeeper.

Martinez arrives following an eye-catching 2023/24 Serie A season at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

He’ll initially be Yann Sommer’s understudy.

However, everyone at the club expects him to become a regular starter after the Swiss star retires.

Enthusiastic about Martinez’s arrival, Inter Milan took to Instagram to send a heart-warming message to their new stopper.
