Antonio Rüdiger (31) believes that it would be a good decision for Kylian Mbappé (25) to leave Paris Saint-Germain and join him at Real Madrid.

The French forward has long been linked with the Spanish capital and it is highly suspected, albeit unconfirmed, that he will be leaving PSG at the end of the season to become a Real Madrid player.

There have been unconfirmed reports that he has explained his decision to the club president and his teammates, while his current manager has unsubtly talked about “preparing” for a future without the talismanic figure in games where he benched or substituted the forward.

Real Madrid players have respected that this is still not a public decision and have generally rejected questions about what they think of Mbappé joining them.

‘Who says that he’s coming’ – Antonio Rüdiger on Kylian Mbappé

Rüdiger was no different when he was interviewed by Le Media Carré stating “Who says that he’s coming, it’s not official.” However, his slight laugh as he was saying this line perhaps revealed what he really thought of the situation.

Although he expressed, that it would be a good decision for Mbappé to make, as he explains “The best players in history have always come to Real Madrid. He’s one of the best players in the world, so it would be a good match.”

Mbappé might be one of the best players in the world but Rüdiger remains convinced that if the Frenchman would meet Real Madrid in this season’s Champions League final, there would only be one winner.
