Senegal: Kick-off date for the 2025-2026 season revealed

The kick-off date for the 2025-2026 season in Senegal has now been set. The action will get underway on October 8.

The Senegalese Professional Football League (LSFP) announced the start date for the new campaign during a press conference held this Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in Dakar, the nation's capital.

The race to succeed Jaraaf, reigning champions of Senegal, will kick off on October 8. The final matchday is scheduled for no later than June 6, 2026, as also confirmed by the local football governing body.

It's worth noting that US Cambérène, champions of Ligue 2, will compete in Ligue 1 next season alongside Stade de Mbour. They will take the places of CNEPS Excellence FC and RS Yoff, both relegated to Ligue 2.
