United remained in the Champions League following their 4-0 victory against PSV but Clinton didn’t even travel.

Is Grace Clinton leaving Manchester United?

Grace Clinton has been one of the hottest properties in this summer’s transfer window and it is still unclear whether or not she will leave Manchester United.

The English midfielder has been linked to various WSL clubs including Champions League winners Arsenal.

Following a successful Euro 2025 campaign this summer Clinton’s highly-rated profile was boosted even more.

The 22-year-old featured off the bench in four of England’s six games in Switzerland.

While she was used as a sub for tired legs this summer, Clinton is sure to be a key part of England’s next European Championship in 2029 when she is more experienced.

The Lionesses are currently priced at 3/1 with betting sites to complete a hat-trick of Euros.

Despite all the rumours, United boss Marc Skinner has insisted that Clinton will remain a United player this summer.

However when United faced PSV on Wednesday more questions were raised, with Clinton not even travelling to Sweden for the Champions League qualifier.

When does the WSL transfer window close?

The WSL transfer window closes on Thursday, September 4th at 11pm.

Even with Skinner confident on keeping Clinton this summer, there is still just over a week for the manager to keep hold of one of the club’s brightest stars.

United have added two new signings to their ranks this summer with a highly-rated Swedish duo joining.

Fridolina Rolfo joined from Barcelona after mutually agreeing to terminate her contract with the club.

Julia Zigiotti Olme also signed and made her competitive debut as the Red Devils thrashed PSV this week.

Manchester United kick off their season not long after the window closes with Skinner’s side facing Leicester City on Sunday, September 7th.
