AC Milan booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia in comprehensive fashion, hammering Sassuolo 6-1 at San Siro.
The game was put to bed inside 23 minutes as Milan scored four goals in an 11-minute spell. Samuel Chukwueze got two of them, while Tijjani Reijnders and Rafael Leao also netted.
With the game done at half-time it meant there was the opportunity to manage minutes a bit more but they did not let their foot off the gas, with Davide Calabria and Tammy Abraham also scoring.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta (seen below) has their ratings from the game, starting with the overall performance which was given a 7.5 out of 10, and Paulo Fonseca’s management of the tie which earned a 7.
Tijjani Reijnders was the man of the match and he got a score of 8, while the player who got the lowest rating was the substitute goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani. He received a 5.5 after letting in a Mulaettieri consolation too easily at the near post.
Tammy Abraham and Samuel Chukwueze were each given a grade of 7.5 as the Nigerian got a brace and the Englishman two goal contributions. Rafael Leao (7) also draw special praise.
Davide Calabria, Strahinja Pavlovic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek were given a 6.5, while Marco Sportiello, Fikayo Tomori, Filippo Terracciano and Youssouf Fofana got a 6. Christian Pulisic and Noah Okafor got the same mark off the bench.
